The Hospitality (Evangelism) Ministry Team is responsible for greeting visitors to our church. Visitors are “cookied” meaning they receive a visit from a member of our congregation who brings them cookies, an Emmanuel Lutheran Church brochure, a Spirit (our newsletter), and a pen. They also receive a letter from the pastor thanking them for coming and asking if they would like a more formal visit from the Pastor and a lay person.
Shortly after someone joins our congregation, they are invited to a new member breakfast where they are provided an overview of the many ministries of Emmanuel and opportunities to serve.
