Emmanuel began its ministry in March of 1962. A warehouse served as our first home. By December of 1964, we had purchased a church site and held our first worship service in the new building. With the leadership of several fine Pastors and the Congregational Council, Emmanuel continued to grow leading to the need for a larger worship space.

In 1987, the current sanctuary was added. Soon after, Emmanuel began a preschool program. That continued to grow to the point that a Kindergarten class was added, as well as an after-school program. Emmanuel continued to grow at a rapid rate, necessitating additional expansion.

In 2002, we were blessed to be able to purchase the home next door to Emmanuel, also known as ET. In that same year, Emmanuel held a 40th anniversary reception to celebrate all the wonderful things that Emmanuel had accomplished. As the building and programs we offered grew, our need for another pastor became evident.
In 2003, we called our associate pastor to help with the congregation’s needs. 2008 proved to be a year of change for Emmanuel, as we lost our beloved Senior Pastor. As the church council and the congregation work together in our call process, we will again continue to build up our programs and spiritual growth for a bright future at Emmanuel.
